Climate refugees

IDPS AND CLIMATE REFUGEES   – More frequent than ever, there is a growing number of people forced to migrate and change home and habitat due to disasters or abrupt climate change. They are known as environmental migrants or internationally displaced people (IDPs).

All around the globe, there are people being affected by climate-related issues; nonetheless, environmental effects are more noticeable, to a greater or lesser extent, in countries burdened with ecological or social debts, suffering vulnerability or conflicts, enduring the pains of the climate crisis, all which suggests they require immediate help.

When in vulnerability, displacement and forced migration, it is the elder, women and children who are mostly affected.
